Support
Support for iPhonotype on iPhone and Mac.
iPhonotype is built for local scientific imaging on iPhone, with optional handoff to iPhonotype Studio on macOS for deeper desktop analysis. If you need help, the fastest route is to email us with your device type, app version, workflow name, and a short description of what happened.
Before You Email
These details help us diagnose issues much faster.
- Which workflow you were using, such as 3D capture, root capture, above-ground phenotyping, or desktop validation.
- Whether the issue happened on iPhone or on the Mac companion.
- Your device model, iOS or macOS version, and app version if visible.
- Any package ID, scan ID, or screenshot that helps us identify the session.

App Review
Reviewer and first-launch summary
The iPhone app does not require an account to test core workflows. Reviewers can create a local experiment, open a capture template, and save sessions entirely on-device.
The Mac companion is optional and is not required for iOS App Review. If the reviewer does not grant Local Network permission or does not have access to a Mac companion, the iPhone app remains usable on its own.
